Frequently asked questions
How do I book tickets?
Open the event, tap "Book tickets", choose how many of each ticket type you want, enter your name and mobile number, and pay. Your tickets are issued as soon as the payment is confirmed.
Where are my tickets?
They are sent to the WhatsApp number you booked with, and to your email if you gave one. You can also sign in to My tickets with that number at any time to see every ticket, with its QR code.
I did not receive my ticket on WhatsApp.
Check that you entered the right number. Then sign in to My tickets with it — your tickets are there even if a message did not arrive. If the payment was taken but no ticket shows, contact us with your order number.
How do I sign in?
Enter the mobile number you booked with and we send a 6-digit code on WhatsApp (or by email, if you prefer). There is no password.
Which payment methods can I use?
UPI, debit and credit cards, and net banking. Payments are processed on a secure, RBI-compliant payment page; HeyJoinMe never sees your card details or UPI PIN.
Can I cancel and get a refund?
Refunds follow the policy the organiser sets for each event, shown when you book, and our cancellation & refund policy. If an event is cancelled, you get your money back in full. Refunds go back to the original payment method, usually within 5–7 working days.
Can I transfer a ticket to a friend?
Where the organiser allows it, open the ticket in My tickets and send it to your friend's mobile number. They get it on WhatsApp and the original QR stops working.
What do I show at the gate?
The QR code from your ticket — on your phone is fine. One QR can admit a whole group when the tickets were bought together.
The event is invite only. What does that mean?
Only people on the organiser's guest list can book. Verify the mobile number you were invited with using the WhatsApp code, and the tickets open.
I am an organiser. How do I list my event?
Contact us and we will set up your organiser account; after that, "List your event" signs you in to your dashboard. Set up your event, ticket types and prices; once it is approved it appears on HeyJoinMe. Organisers agree to our Terms of operation.
